About the project
The trio behind Respire were looking to get into motorsport as a major sponsor for five racing teams across five series.
They approached Ash to develop a new identity that could cover all applications of the sponsorships. The project started with a deep discovery of the founders’ interests, goals and key messaging. Once establishing a clear scope to match the brand vision, creating a logo was to be the next touch point before developing the full visual identity.

Challanges
The time constraints that came with this project really limited the extent of our deliverables. We just had too many ideas to implement.
The timeline was a general area of restriction. Finding the right solution for the identity went oddly smoothly. We were given strong direction from the start and we chose our concept early.
We wanted to make sure that we arrived at a solution that enabled further-growth and visual evolution for this brand.

Results
The final logo result was exactly what the team was after – a strong icon that could be used as an identification mark without the logotype.
Both elements of the logo were designed to work independently and be applied to specific applications. As the company grows its product line, the asset library is also expected to grow with it.
Moving forward, all sorts of sounds, textures and smells are expected to be used to turn the visual identity into a full-brand experience, so this project is far from over.
The relationship is still growing between Ash and the team at Respire, with more assets being created for brand identity and a marketing strategy to grow with their product line.
