Echo IQ Annual Report

Process
Echo IQ is a medical tech company based in Sydney, Australia. We had two short weeks to create an annual report to shareholders before it was due to be published in both print and digital formats.
This was the shortest timeline I had ever been given for an annual report, so we started the discussion with a key question: can it be done?
I was given the timeline of 2 weeks to turn around an 80-page document with content still left to arrive over the first week. We agreed the priority should be the digital document. Echo IQ's brand assets consisted of a handful of logos and within two touch points, we had discussed style references that would guide the design of the document.

Results
After mood boards of graphics, colour swatches and layout designs, sketches were drawn to plan layouts. A digital sample of three layouts was approved within 4 days of starting the project.
Halfway through the project, I realised this may be too big for a two-week timeline, so I had to switch the design strategy, automate as much of the process as possible, and cull some infographics.
After a couple more days InDesign was streamlined, and after crossing that hurdle, the project was back on track. We reached the final digital version, signed off and published by the 30th of September 2024. A week later, we had a printed document for a select few of the Echo iQ board of directors.
Reaching the end of this project in time for the ASIC publication deadline was a huge accomplishment, and the relationship between Echo IQ and Rewired Graphics is still growing.
